With the government shutdown continuing and workers increasingly feeling the pinch, Baltimore Archbishop William E. Lori is urging support for individuals and families who have been impacted.

“At moments like this, we are reminded that our faith is not lived in isolation from the realities of the world around us.  As disciples of Christ, we are called to stand in solidarity with those who suffer, to walk alongside them, and to be a source of hope in times of uncertainty,” he wrote.

We’ve pulled together some resources to help those facing difficult situations as the government shutdown continues. If you can volunteer or donate, now is a good time to reach out to these resources, also.
