Gregory Snyder II

Associate Director of Communications and Engagement

Gregory Snyder joined the Maryland Catholic Conference as Associate Director of Communications and Engagement in January 2019. 

Gregory grew up in Reisterstown, MD, attending Sacred Heart School of Glyndon and Calvert Hall. He received a B.A. in Political Science from Roanoke College in Salem, VA. 

Gregory began his career in Annapolis working as a Legislative Aide for Senator Justin Ready (R-5), followed by serving as Chief of Staff for Senator Johnny Ray Salling (R-6). He comes to the Maryland Catholic Conference from the Hogan Administration at the Office of Governmental Affairs at the Maryland Transit Administration. 

Gregory lives in Canton in Baltimore. In his free time he is a member of the Bach in Baltimore Choir, serves on the Board of Directors of Keep Punching, a local non-profit dedicated to finding improved treatments and an eventual cure for brain cancer, and is a member of the young professionals group at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Maryland, the Red Shoe Crew.

Outside of his passion for advocacy and public policy, Gregory is an avid Ravens, Orioles, and Capitals fan.
